RALR Lichtenstein zt”l (died summer 2015) was the most articulate spokesman and role model for the value of the humanities, and literature in particular, in achieving goals advantageous to the religious and spiritual personality.

 

Recorded at the Limmud UK Conference, December 2015, this session was given by R. Jeffrey Saks and covers an appreciation and survey of R Lichtenstein’s teachings on the importance of engaging with the ‘best that has been thought and said’.
